Te reo Māori and Te Ao Haka teacher

Overview

We are seeking an exceptional teacher to join our team. We are a well resourced Y1-13 school situated 25 minutes drive from Whangārei. A passion for developing a localised curriculum and incorporating Te Ao Māori concepts into teaching are essential.

Responsibilities

• Teach across Year 1–13, with emphasis on Years 7–13. Experience with NCEA is an advantage.
• Deliver a localised curriculum and incorporate Te Ao Māori concepts into teaching and school life.
• Be prepared to teach other curriculum areas as required; indicate other subject areas on your application.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support student achievement and school culture.

This is a permanent position starting at the start of the 2026 academic year. Those seeking full-time or part-time teaching roles will be considered.
