About the role

Jacobs is seeking a Project Director to join our Cities & Places – Healthcare team in Christchurch.

This strategic, client-facing role is pivotal in unlocking our future pipeline and shaping the next generation of health infrastructure across New Zealand.

You'll work closely with our Architectural Lead and provide direction to a high-performing team, driving commercial success and delivering outcomes that matter to communities.

Key responsibilities

Lead program and commercial management for complex infrastructure and health projects.

Build and nurture client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.

Guide multidisciplinary teams and global delivery partners to achieve project excellence.

Support business development and contribute to strategic pursuits and proposal leadership.

Champion innovation, safety, and quality across all phases of project delivery.

Qualifications and experience

Relevant tertiary qualifications.

Proven experience in delivering large-scale, complex infrastructure programmes.

Strong commercial acumen and understanding of project delivery tools and standards.

Exceptional stakeholder engagement and leadership capabilities.

Health sector experience is desirable but not essential.
