Access Community Health Support workers | Kaiāwhina help build strong, trusting relationships with tangata and their whānau.

We’re currently hiring for the following workdays / hours :

  • Monday – Friday and every second weekend
  • Option of morning or afternoon shifts available : 7am – 12pm or 4pm – 8pm
  • Paid Training & Weekend Bonuses!

This is a fixed-term position, commencing 1 December 2025 and ending on 1 February 2026.

Each Tangata will have individual care requirements, and you will support them with all elements of daily living. No qualifications or prior experience are required, as we provide comprehensive training to ensure all Kaiāwhina | Support Workers are equipped with the skills and knowledge they need.

Mōhou Ake | About You

  • Genuinely love working with people who need support and seeing them thrive
  • Be intuitive and responsive to people's feelings and needs
  • Own a smartphone
  • The right to work in New Zealand
  • Full / restricted driver's license
  • Whakangungu | Training

    Paid training! Our Kaiāwhina Skills Framework training takes place during your first two weeks of employment and is a mixture of practical training, online self‑directed learning, and working with a buddy trainer.

    You must be available to work statutory holidays and to attend two weeks of paid training starting from either 17 November 2025 or 1 December 2025 .
