About the role

This role sits within our Digital Workplace Platform and is part of the DevTools Squad.

This squad supports Platform (an ecosystem for code management, collaboration, and governance), Workflow, and Automation.

This is a hands-on consulting role where you'll work closely with internal teams to design, deliver, and support smart, scalable solutions.

You'll be part of a collaborative environment that values both technical depth and strong communication.

Responsibilities

Partnering with stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into technical requirements

Design and implement software solutions that align with business goals and technical best practice

Support solution delivery across the full lifecycle – from discovery and design through to deployment and optimisation

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product owners, and business leads

Troubleshoot issues, provide technical guidance, and continuously look for ways to improve outcomes

Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, and process improvement initiatives

The technologies you will be focusing on include GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Flow and Actions, self-hosted runners, secret management, and DevOps architecture; significant experience in constructing AKS infrastructure and deploying

About You

You're a curious problem-solver who thrives at the intersection of technology and people.

You bring a strong technical foundation and a consultative mindset, with the ability to translate complex requirements into practical solutions that deliver real value.

You'll bring

6+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Cloud Infrastructure and application development

Extensive experience with GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Flow and Actions, self-hosted runners, secret management, and DevOps architecture

Significant experience in constructing AKS infrastructure and deploying, managing containers using Azure Kubernetes (especially AKS) and related services through CI / CD with Bicep

Good to have experience in Octopus, LoadRunner, ADO

Previous experience in automation processes and orchestration tools.

Establishment of CI / CD processes for configuring all production systems

Eager to learn emerging technologies and methods, and to mentor team members

Confidence working with stakeholders to gather requirements, map processes, and recommend fit-for-purpose solutions

Excellent communication skills – you can explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences

A collaborative approach and a genuine interest in helping others succeed
