We value consulting maturity just as much as technical depth.What you'll be doingYou'll work across a range of interesting data and AI projects, including : Designing and building data pipelines, dataflows, and event-driven ingestion patternsWorking with Fabric, Databricks, Delta / OneLake, and wider Azure data servicesPairing with clients to understand problems, shape approaches, and turn ideas into working solutionsApplying ML and AI techniques to forecasting, clustering, anomaly detection, and document understandingBringing a consulting mindset to every engagement so customers feel supported and confidentCollaborating with a wider team across the world (NZ / AUS / USA & Europe)No two projects will look the same, so you'll get variety, learning, and plenty of ownership.Technical experience we'd love you to haveCorePython (OOP and notebooks), PySpark, SQL or SparkSQLData extraction or automation experience using tools like Playwright, Selenium, BeautifulSoup, Firecrawl, ZyteContainerisation and dev automation using Docker, Docker Compose, CI / CD (GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps)Working understanding of AKS and how to deploy or operate workloadsHands on with Fabric or Databricks, Delta / OneLake, Functions, Queues, and modern Azure data patternsBuilding Fabric Data Pipelines, Dataflows Gen2, or Databricks notebooksA mindset focused on data quality, lineage, and observabilityML / AI / NLP / LLM experience & skillsExperience with feature engineering, data analysis, or model buildingForecasting (classical and deep), clustering, anomaly detection, or risk scoringExperience with Transformers for NER, classification, or summarisationOCR, document parsing, crawling pipelines, or handling unstructured textTraining and retraining pipelines in Fabric, Databricks, or Azure MLMLflow or similar for trackingAwareness of model drift and model decayPackaging inference services in Docker with reproducible buildsWhat would make you a great fitYou communicate clearly and confidently with both technical and non-technical peopleYou enjoy understanding the customer and shaping the right solutionYou are proactive, thoughtful, and calm under pressureYou care about building things properly, not just quicklyYou like being part of a team that supports each other and wins togetherIf this sounds like you, even if you don't hit every skill, we'd love to hear from you.
