Every day brings variety. You might be researching emerging issues, analysing data to support new policy proposals, preparing reports for Council, or helping design engagement processes that ensure our community’s voice is heard. Te Āheinga - The Opportunity

• Contribute to the development and review of strategies, policies, bylaws and plans that help deliver on Napier’s long‑term vision.
• Undertake research and analysis to support evidence‑based decision‑making across Council projects.
• Help design and deliver engagement activities that reflect community needs and perspectives.
• Support continuous improvement within the Strategy and Policy team through collaboration, innovation, and great communication.

Ngā painga mōhou - What we Offer

This is a permanent, full time position working 40 hours a week, Monday-Friday. You will be based in Napier.

The annual salary package for this role is between $91,400-$107,500 (including KiwiSaver), with the final offer depending on your skills and experience.
