Child & Adolescent Mental Health Clinician (Camhs)

OverviewChild & Adolescent Mental Health Clinician (CAMHS) based in Whakatu.

You will work with tamariki and rangatahi experiencing psychological, emotional, or behavioural challenges, providing specialised mental health assessments, interventions, and ongoing support in an evidence-based, developmentally appropriate manner aligned with the needs of whanau.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team that values collaboration, cultural safety, and holistic approaches to wellbeing, contributing to positive mental health outcomes and strengthening the mana of the whanau we serve.ResponsibilitiesProvide mental health assessments, interventions, and ongoing support for children and adolescents and their whanau.Deliver care that is evidence-based, developmentally appropriate, and culturally responsive.Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to support tamariki and rangatahi.Engage with key stakeholders in health and social services to support continuity of care.QualificationsA relevant tertiary qualification in health or an allied health field.Current registration as a mental health practitioner.A solid understanding of mental health conditions, interventions, and best practices.Experience working with tamariki, rangatahi, and whanau in a mental health setting.Strong relationships with key stakeholders in the health and social services sector.Proficiency in report writing and client management systems (INDICI experience is a plus).
