Job Description
We're seeking a commercially astute
Project Controller
to join our dynamic team in Auckland.
This role is pivotal in ensuring financial transparency, accuracy, and control across the full project lifecycle.
What You'll Do :
Lead financial reporting, forecasting, and cost control for a major infrastructure project.
Manage billing, cash flow, and project accounting in line with global standards.
Support project and commercial managers with financial analysis and change management.
Execute key finance activities including FX contracts, bonding, and tax strategy.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance and transparency.
Success in this role means :
Delivering accurate and timely financial forecasts and reports.
Maintaining effective cost control and cash flow management.
Providing transparent financial insights that support strategic decision-making.
Ensuring compliance with global PMO standards and local regulations.
Supporting risk and claim management with clear financial documentation.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience
What you'll bring :
A degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
Proven experience in project controlling or commercial project management.
Strong Excel and financial modelling skills; CPA / CA / CIMA certification is a plus.
Experience with large-scale, cross-border engineering or construction projects.
A proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
