This role sits in Headquarters Defence Logistics Command, that supports the greater NZDF supply chain and warehousing operations.
As the Unit's SME in hazardous substances – class 1 (explosives), you will be responsible for :
Once you are assessed as competent, there exists the option for flexible working arrangements (this includes working out of a military Base or Camp, working from home, flex hours, etc)

This is a very specialised role requiring you must have detailed technical knowledge of and competency in the management of hazardous substances – class 1 (explosives).
You will also have :
You will also have very strong interpersonal skills as you will need to relate to a variety of both Military and Civilian personnel, be confident in your presentation skills.
Ideally you would have a Military background so you can meet these key skills and knowledge.

This role requires you to travel to other camps and bases throughout New Zealand, you may be away from your home-base for a few days at a time.
You need to have a Class 1 Full Driver's Licence.
