Let Me Tell You About The Role
As B2C Pricing Manager, you'll lead a highly capable team responsible for optimising fuel volume and margin delivery across bp's company-owned retail network in Australia and New Zealand.
You will lead and motivate the team, build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, provide market and performance insights, and make strategic pricing recommendations.
Success will be measured by balancing insights from macroeconomic trends, competitive landscapes, customer behaviour, and financial targets, while ensuring regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
The role holds significant commercial delegations of authority, requiring strong commercial acumen and the ability to make timely decisions in ambiguous situations.
What You Will Deliver
Lead, coach, and inspire the B2C Pricing team to deliver volume and margin targets, fostering a high-performance culture.
Develop and execute pricing strategies, continuously monitoring performance and adapting to market dynamics to meet business objectives.
Establish trust and credibility with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders by providing clear, data-driven insights and strategic recommendations.
Lead the adoption of global best practices, enhance digital pricing capabilities and drive innovation.
What You Will Need To Be Successful
Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline.
Expertise in interpreting complex data, market trends, and customer behaviour to drive commercial decisions and optimisation.
Over 10 years of experience in pricing, retail, supply or finance roles, preferably across both Australia and New Zealand markets, with a demonstrated ability to lead teams and deliver commercial outcomes.
Deep understanding of the retail and wholesale fuel industry or similar sectors in Australia and New Zealand; knowledge of supply economics and customer industries is highly valued.
Proven success in managing complex internal and external relationships, building trust and credibility with senior leaders and partners.
Strong written, verbal and presenting skills.
Familiarity with pricing software, digital tools, and data intelligence platforms advantageous.
