About the role

Fixed term (February-July 2026), part-time (0.5 FTE) – annualised. The School of Nursing has an annualised, part‑time position available for a Clinical Educator in Nursing.

We require a nurse educator to fulfil the clinical position and contribute to clinical education in the Bachelor of Health Science (Nursing) and Master of Nursing Science programmes. A minimum of a graduate certificate (PG) in a qualification relating to Nursing is required. The appointee will contribute to the development of clinical learning within nursing at AUT.

Work alongside Māori and Pacific students; a high level of cultural sensitivity is desired, along with knowledge of kawa and tikanga Māori and mātauranga Māori.

About you

Applicants must have a current NCNZ practising certificate and recent New Zealand clinical experience. They should embrace the vision and values of the school and commit to ongoing professional development supported by the AUT staff development programme.
