We are looking for a qualified and experienced Senior Structural Engineer with expertise in liquid retaining structures to lead our work in the Industrial and Water markets. You will join a well-established and diverse team of structural engineers, working on a wide range of projects across the local region, New Zealand, the Pacific, and Australasia. Every day will provide you with new challenges and look a little different. Overall, this role will see you :
Demonstrate your ability and passion for providing technical advice and project leadership while embracing a culture that values teamwork
Lead project delivery together with client relationship skills and proposal preparation
Build strong customer relationships by understanding our client's core business and ensuring that services meet their expectations
Help grow the talent and careers of our structural engineers as well as champion innovation
Ko wai koe | About you
You are a chartered structural engineer with a strong track record of delivering industrial or water projects, including experience with liquid retaining structures. These may include :
Water reservoirs and tanks
Water and wastewater treatment plantsSpecific experience in the following would also be beneficial :
Design of concrete structures for the storage of liquids, in particular following NZS3106
Assessment and design of steel tanks following NZSEE Seismic Design of Storage Tanks
Experience with the control of cracking in concrete structures advantageous (CIRIA C766)You love to learn and share knowledge and can bring a fresh perspective to ensure the development of the people around you.
