We are seeking an experienced accredited and registered Physiotherapist for several hours per week to support our dynamic virtual health service for members located in Australia. Teladoc Health’s Fitness & Recovery Service enables members to access an online video consultation with a registered Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist to discuss their fitness, exercise and well‑being goals, in addition to any fitness‑or recovery‑related concerns they may have, all from the comfort of their own homes. Members can query us on implementing exercise plans appropriate for their age and fitness level, maintaining their fitness while managing an injury, or developing habits to improve their overall fitness and well‑being, and you will be guiding them every step of the way.

Summary Of Position

The key functions of this role include :

Conducting online video consultations with members to discuss their current fitness and recovery objectives and concerns.
Providing tailored recommendations and advice to help members achieve their fitness, exercise and well‑being goals.
Producing a personalized report for each member that consolidates and expands upon recommendations made during the consultation.
Conducting follow‑up phone calls and answering any additional questions the member may have.

To be successful in this role

You will be an experienced accredited Physiotherapist who is comfortable operating in a virtual environment. In addition :

You should be fully registered without limitation under the relevant national health board.

You should possess professional indemnity insurance.

As this is a contract role, you must provide your ABN or the name of your affiliated registered practice for invoicing purposes.

You should have an appropriate home or office workspace and technology to facilitate service delivery, including video conferencing.

You can meet deadlines and are comfortable managing new patients on a regular basis.

You are comfortable using IT systems and following procedural guidelines.

You have a great manner with patients and aspire to our goal of making a difference in our members’ lives.

You have a specific interest in supporting women's health and providing support during menopause.
