Job description

The staff is responsible for managing the assigned functions in OSS-General Services.

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities and Duties (80%)

  • Manages the operation and systems, as well as reviews and improvements of the functional units in OSS-General Services :

Security & Carpark Management

Ensure the clear administration of carpark policy

  • Management of service vendors performance in terms of maintenance, breakdown response and cost of service of the key systems (Card access, CCTV, Carpark, walkie talkie)
  • Proper maintenance of the overall master key and process of key issuance, audit and changes.
  • Review the various Code Black, feedback, Ehor cases raised and recommend improvement and changes where necessary.
  • Work closely with Queenstown NPC for the investigation and review of cases reported from NUH, and takes necessary and relevant actions to help the hospital in reducing them.
  • Participate in the KRWSSWG team to promote and enhance security awareness and support
  • Conduct of regular dialogue session with staff
  • Handles service feedback and review / improvement to the services.
  • Review and propose new initiatives to improve the services.
  • Ensure timely review of service / lease / license contract terms and conditions and cost of services / contracts.
  • Work with the various functions’ staff and other NUH departments on service improvement initiatives.
  • Work with the various functions to manage and review the feedback / incidents and ensure corrective action and necessary follow up on discipline or workflow update is done
  • Assist with the department’s logistics, equipment and services including procurement, inventory, payments and record management.
  • Assist with the review and updating of the department’s policy, SOP documents, Emergency Response plan for the department and financial budgeting.
  • Secondary Responsibilities and Duties (20%)

  • Handles Staff Development and discipline.
  • Timely completion of assigned projects within approved budget amount.
  • To review training plan of direct staff
  • Maintenance of respective functional unit’s SOPs and documentations.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by Supervisor.
  • Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree. (Public Safety and Security, Engineering)
  • Service oriented and customer focused.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good analytical and process skills.
  • Office hours : Mon-Thur : 830am to 6pm , Fri : 830am to 530pm
