Field Sales Representative
Randstad New Zealand is seeking motivated and results‑driven Field‑based Sales Representatives to join a specialized project team. If you have a background in sales within highly regulated industries and thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Job Details
- Location : Hamtilon or Tauranga (or surrounding), with travel between Thames and Gisborne.
- Start Date : Immediate.
- End Date : Approximately 2 months, with strong potential for longer‑term extension.
- Hours per Week : 40 hours.
- Compensation : $35 – $40 per hour + 8% holiday pay.
- Travel : Regional travel to locations between Thames and Gisborne. Must own vehicle; mileage and travel expenses reimbursed.
What You’ll Do
Manage daily fieldwork operations, traveling to public hospitals and GP clinics across the designated territory.Engage with healthcare professionals (HCPs), gather and capture data.Execute a streamlined in‑person verification and data capture process, maintaining a high volume of daily interactions.Accurately process and validate all collected consent data, managing associated field reports.Oversee logistics for daily travel schedule, including overnight stays if required.Ensure all project protocols, compliance standards, and health and safety requirements are followed rigorously.Contribute to daily reporting, communicating challenges and successes to the project management team.About You

You should be a problem‑solver, able to manage your schedule, think on your feet, and maintain a professional demeanor while focusing on a single measurable outcome. You possess exceptional discipline and a commitment to hitting daily and weekly targets.
Qualifications
Proven field sales experience in Pharmaceutical or FMCG sectors, or equivalent regulated, target‑driven environments.Results‑driven mindset focused on high‑volume data / consent capture.Excellent organisational and time‑management skills for a demanding, self‑directed travel schedule.A full and clean driver’s licence and reliable personal vehicle suitable for extensive travel.High‑level professional communication skills, able to build rapport quickly with busy healthcare professionals.Comfortable with technology for data capture, reporting, and territory management.Willingness and flexibility to undertake extensive travel and occasional overnight stays as required.Experience & Skills
