Permanent, part‑time role (0.4 FTE, 32 hours per fortnight)

About the role

Work as part of the Perioperative Education team to provide clinical and educational support in the perioperative environment.

This will involve clinical teaching‑coaching to support our trainees and anaesthetic technician colleagues in clinical decision making in practice, and role‑modeling excellent practice.

The purpose of this role is to :

provide support to the Anaesthetic Technician team

advocate the needs of patients

practice both autonomously and in collaboration with the multi‑disciplinary team to support patient health care needs

set objectives and goals with individual staff members to ensure an adult learning environment is developed with clear outcomes achieved

support staff learning, particularly those that are new to specialty.

Salary range

This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the PSA Allied, Public Health, Scientific & Technical CEA and the salary will be in accordance with the Pay Scale clause 5.2.4 dependent on relevant experience.
