1-1 Computer and Vocational Trainer

Step by Step Training specialises in one-to-one digital literacy and vocational training for adult learners. We’re expanding and looking for experienced trainers — particularly in Tauranga, but we welcome applicants from Tauranga to Papamoa.

This is a part-time, contractor role ideal for educators who value independence and flexibility. You’ll deliver private one-to-one training from your home-based training area (face-to-face and online) using our resources and digital systems.

About us

Step by Step is an NZQA-accredited Private Training Establishment with a nationwide network of trainers. Our students are typically adults returning to work after injury or time away from employment, often referred by ACC and other agencies.

We’re now transitioning to a marketplace model that rewards experience, flexibility, and quality, giving trainers more choice over rates and teaching opportunities as we expand our digital platform.
