We're now looking for a Café Assistant for our Summerset Village in Ellerslie who shares our love for people and hospitality.Job DescriptionResponsibilities include : Preparing, presenting, and serving food and drinks to a high standardProviding outstanding barista servicesAssisting with catering for village events and resident functionsHandling cash and reconciling daily takingsWe have 2 permanent part-time roles, working on a rotating 2-week roster.Permanent Part Time - 26 hours per fortnightWeek 1 : Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 10am - 2pmWeek 2 : Friday from 7 : 30am - 2pm, Saturday and Sunday from 10am - 2pmPermanent Part Time - 34 hours per fortnightWeek 1 : Saturday and Sunday from 7 : 30am – 3 : 30pmWeek 2 : Friday from 5pm – 9pm, Saturday and Sunday from 7 : 30am – 3 : 30pmQualificationsPrevious hospitality or café experienceSuperb barista skillsA warm, friendly personality with great customer service skillsExcellent communication and the ability to multitaskThe ability to work both independently and as part of a teamWe welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, experiences, and walks of life—including those with transferable skills from other industries.Additional InformationWe are proud to show our appreciation for the passion and commitment our people show every day, by offering a selection of employee benefits : Retail discounts and paid leave for your birthdayThe ability to grow your career across a variety of roles in SummersetOpportunities to gain recognised hospitality qualificationsUniform providedApplications for this role will close on Wednesday 15th October.
