We’re looking for a Senior Business Manager who can handle the day-to-day client contact and be responsible for the completion and implementation of all activities and campaigns allocated to you.

Under the supervision of the Group Business Director you will be responsible for managing all job budgets and be accountable for profit on all jobs through;

  • Having the ability to foresee issues / problems
  • Writing creative briefs (in conjunction with Planning) and compiling competitive reviews
  • Delivering a high standard of client service, ensuring efficient management of projects through input into WIP’s, agendas, timelines and contact reports
  • Work closely with creative teams within the agency to enhance the interactive elements of their thinking

Client Responsibilities

  • Client relationship management, deliver a high standard of client service, ensuring efficient management of projects through input into WIP’s, agendas, timelines, and contact reports.
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of client business objectives and use this knowledge to inform briefs, creative work, and strategies.
  • Lead and / or attend client meetings and ensures accurate contact reports are issued within 24hrs. You should be able to comfortably present creative amends and final products
  • Keep well-informed of industry trends and continuously share information with clients in a timely manner so the agency (and Business Management) are viewed as trusted business partners.
  • Play a key role in the development of integrated campaigns, demonstrating an understanding of the pros & cons of each of the media channels in play and their suitability for the task at hand.
  • Agency Responsibilities

  • Engage the right people in the business, at the right time using in-depth knowledge of the client and their business to introduce other agency and network specialists.
  • Take on the role of acting as the trusted right hand for your Line Manager, acting on behalf of them (and the agency) for internal and client meetings when they can’t attend.
  • Demonstrate sound creative judgment and use your knowledge of the client to be able to identify work that is strategically and tonally right for the client.
  • Be responsible for timely distribution of estimates, invoices, monthly JCR’s, WIP’s and contact reports.
  • Teach & Coach. You should actively take on a mentoring role within your team, taking interest in the career development of your BE / BM.
  • Effectively manage the financial administration by monitoring revenue vs expenditure, recovery of additional work, maintaining up-to-date records and relevant job approvals received.
  • What we’re looking for from you -

  • Accurately communicate information to and from the client by being a good listener and able to create strong relationships with people in all departments
  • Strong leadership skills that lead to working well with all departments and inspiring and guiding your BE / BM in helping to build positive relationships
  • able to judge whether creative is on the right track and work with the creative team and your BD to ensure that all creative is on strategy.
  • able to work across multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, prioritising based on importance and deadlines
  • Proven ability to produce award-winning designs, a bonus.
