The Sales Manager will be entrusted with the mission of driving new business opportunities with the poise, refinement, and precision synonymous with French luxury hospitality.
Through proactive sales initiatives and strategic relationship-building, this role will craft opportunities that elevate our brand and deliver sustainable revenue growth.
While there is a strong emphasis on the corporate segment, the Sales Manager will curate success across all market segments, ensuring a balanced, sophisticated, and commercially astute approach to business development.
Responsibilities
Drive revenue growth across Corporate and Groups segments through inspired account engagement, pursuit of new opportunities, and maximised conversion of leads into lasting partnerships.
Cultivate strong, enduring relationships with clients, offering a level of service and attention to detail reflective of Sofitel's French sophistication.
Anticipate market trends, identify partnership opportunities, and position Sofitel Wellington as the preferred choice for refined experiences.
Maintain an expert understanding of the hotel's commercial strategy, services, and rate structures to consistently exceed business objectives.
Monitor competitive activity and guest feedback, sharing insights that inspire innovation and performance.
Represent Sofitel Wellington with grace and confidence at trade shows, client events, and industry gatherings.
Host site inspections, client entertainment, and familiarisation visits that immerse guests in Sofitel's Art de Vivre.
Support the ALL – Accor Live Limitless program, weaving loyalty into every client interaction.
Guide the Corporate RFP process with accuracy and finesse.
Partner with CP and Accor Sales teams to identify growth opportunities and activate strategic promotions.
Ensure every enquiry is met with a timely, polished, and professional response that reflects the Sofitel brand.
Qualifications
3 year + experience in hotel sales with strong knowledge of the corporate and group segments
Demonstrated success in business development
Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook
Familiarity with hotel PMS systems and online sales platforms
Expertise in client relationship management
Autonomous, proactive, and commercially driven
Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills
Mastery of detail and multitasking in a fast-paced environment
Professional integrity and a commitment to the highest standards
