Nelson City Council is seeking a skilled Resource Consents Administrator to provide high-quality administrative support in the processing and issuing of resource consents, including subdivision administration.
About this role | Ko tenei turanga mahi
In this position, you will :
Maintain accurate records of resource consents within Council systems
Manage invoicing, development contributions, and debtors administration
Prepare reports, warrants of appointment, and information for customers and consultants
Provide general administrative support to the Consents & Compliance team and the wider organisation

We are looking for someone who brings :
Extensive administrative experience, with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to manage competing priorities effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and database management systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
A strong commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.
An understanding of, or willingness to develop knowledge of, the resource consent process and Council operations.
