Mo te tūranga|About the Role :

As a Senior Data Business Analyst in our Personal Lending Transformation team , you'll drive technology and business change by delivering robust analysis and actionable insights. You'll collaborate with business, product owners, and delivery teams to continuously improve our data environment, processes, and practices, helping to develop and maintain high-quality data management, risk, and governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities include :

• Stakeholder Collaboration - Partner with stakeholders to elicit, validate, and manage both business and technical requirements within the Personal Lending Transformation team.
• Business and Data Analysis - Lead and execute comprehensive analysis across business processes and data assets to support strategic initiatives.
• Process Documentation - Document current and future state processes, user journeys, and integration points to ensure clarity and alignment.
• Data Governance and Risk Management - Develop and maintain robust practices for data management, risk mitigation, and governance compliance.
• Process Optimization - Drive automation, simplification, and standardization across data-related workflows to improve efficiency.
• Advanced Data Analysis - Apply advanced SQL and database concepts to analyse complex datasets from multiple sources and inform business decisions.
• Excel Logic Development - Build logic in Microsoft Excel to support development teams and enhance solution delivery.
• Agile Maturity Uplift - Champion the uplift of agile maturity within your squad by promoting agile principles and continuous improvement.

You will have at least five years' experience working as a Business Analyst with demonstrable skills, including :
