We are currently delivering work ranging from bridges and wharves to water treatment plants, storage tanks and pipelines.We're currently bidding for a strong pipeline of work and are looking for a Project Manager who wants to be involved from bid stage through to delivery.In this role, you'll see yourself responsible for the bidding for and effective delivery of heavy civil / structures projects.

This includes the planning, resourcing and coordination from end to end, whilst ensuring we achieve and exceed all targets, including safety standards, quality standards, budgets, programme and project objectives.On a day-to-day basis you'll be responsible for : Develop and implement project methodology timelines, and budgets in collaboration with the teamOversee contract compliance, manage variations and claims and provide monthly financial reports.Lead the onsite construction team to deliver projects on time and within budgetBuild and maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants and internal stakeholdersLead by example promoting and achieving zero harm goalsMaintaining a safe and tidy site, assisting in the development of management systems and ensuring compliance within your teamUndertaking regular inspections to ensure that safety, environmental, and quality standards are achieved across the project.Project and / or Contract management experience in Civil EngineeringProven experience in managing Civil infrastructure construction projectsDemonstrated leadership experience managing teams, plant and budgetsTrack record of promoting a culture of safety, quality and environmental excellenceStrong relationship management skills with internal and external stakeholdersBenefits include : Company vehicle provided in this position.Medical insurance for you and your whanau.Life insurance from day one.KiwiSaver employer contributions after service milestones up to 7%.
