Join an exciting project focused on bringing fascinating and lesser-known historical facts to a wide audience through engaging YouTube content. This role involves creating both long-form videos (8-10 minutes) and short-form clips designed to attract viewers to the main channel. The ideal candidate is passionate about history, skilled in storytelling, and experienced in producing compelling video content for digital platforms. This is a remote, project-based opportunity with the potential for ongoing collaboration based on performance.

Deliverables

Produce long-form YouTube videos (8-10 minutes) on unique and intriguing historical topics
Create short-form video content to promote main videos and drive channel engagement
Research and script accurate, well-structured narratives tailored for YouTube audiences
Edit and assemble video footage, incorporating graphics, images, and sound to enhance storytelling
Ensure all content aligns with YouTube best practices for audience retention and discoverability
Collaborate with the channel owner to refine concepts and deliver final videos on schedule

Requirements

Proven experience creating YouTube content, preferably in the history or educational niche

Strong research skills and the ability to distill complex historical information into engaging scripts

Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar)

Ability to source and integrate relevant visuals, archival footage, and sound effects

Excellent storytelling, writing, and communication skills

Self-motivated, organized, and able to meet deadlines independently

Remote work capability; no on-site presence required

Availability for a single project with potential for future work
