Delivery Driver

Overview

You'll be responsible for getting LPG cylinders out to homes and businesses across the area.

You'll meet customers face-to-face, answer questions, and help solve problems.

Since the job involves handling hazardous materials, being detail-oriented and safety-conscious is key.

Schedule

Monday to Friday starting around 6 : 30 am and finishing no later than 5 : 00 pm.

Saturday work during busy times (paid overtime).

This role is based in New Plymouth.

Responsibilities

Deliver pre-filled LPG cylinders and take away empties.

Complete vehicle safety checks and organise delivery runs.

Load product onto the truck and ensure safe, on-time delivery to customers.

Meet customers, answer questions, and help solve problems.

What's in it for you?

$30 per hour.

Weekly pay.

Assistance to obtain and maintain current Forklift and Dangerous Goods (DG) endorsement.

Uniform and PPE provided.

What you need to be successful

Full, clean Class 2 Licence with manual transmission capability.

Previous experience delivering goods.

Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy items during deliveries.

Dangerous Goods licence and LPG filling experience (or willingness to undergo training).

Flexible, adaptable, and customer-service focused.

Able to use handheld computer delivery equipment.

Proactive approach with a strong focus on Health and Safety.

Satisfactorily pass background checks (criminal & ACC history, medical, and drug & alcohol screening).

Team player with a can-do attitude and the flexibility to meet operation needs.

MUST BE a NZ resident or hold a valid NZ work permit and be residing in the country.
