About the role | Ko te turanga mahiWe're looking for an experienced Engineering Team Lead to join our IT Applications and Support team.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll oversee a small team of System Engineers and play a key part in managing and evolving our cloud infrastructure.You'll be a member of the Application and Support leadership team, contributing to both BAU and project-based initiatives.
Your work will span infrastructure management, cloud optimisation, CI / CD pipeline development, and security compliance — with a strong focus on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform.Key responsibilities include : Leading and mentoring the cloud engineering practiceOverseeing deployment, monitoring, and optimisation of cloud infrastructureDriving adoption of IaC and maintaining CI / CD pipelines (ADO, Git)Managing technical vendor deliverablesEnforcing cloud security best practices and supporting incident responseProviding Level 3 support across servers, SAN, cloud, network, and desktop environmentsYou'll also contribute to documentation, training, and cross-functional collaboration across the wider organisation.About you | Ko wai koeYou're a technically strong leader with deep experience in cloud infrastructure and a passion for mentoring others.
