  • The opportunity
  • We are looking for an experienced Foreperson to join our Maintenance team.

    • In this role you'll see yourself responsible for leading the day-to-day activities of an operational crew to deliver work on time, on budget and safely.

    You will deliver a quality service, developing the capabilities of your crew, engaging with staff and clients daily and ensure our high standards of health and safety are met by your team.

  • In addition to the above you will :
  • Ensure your team adheres to all Health & Safety policies and procedures
  • Maximise your team's daily productivity and ensuring the quality of works
  • Have great people management skills and open communication skills

  • We're looking for someone with :
  • 5+ years' experience in civil construction / maintenance
  • Minimum class 2 licence
  • WTR endorsements
  • A background in both road construction, pavement construction and earthworks
  • Flexibility and available for "on call" after hours work (rostered)
  • Strong communication skills able to speak with clients and the public well
  • Proven experience in supervising and leading a crew
  • Previous plant experience in a construction environment
  • Ability to communicate clear expectations to your team and suppliers
  • Accountability for resources, including people management and supply allocation
  • A can-do attitude and the ability to problem solve
  • An unwavering commitment towards safety with a safety record to match
