Storeperson / Loader Operator

Are you safety-focusedwith experience operating machinery, particularly Front EndLoaders? Bunge is seeking a Storeperson / Loader Operator to joinour Timaru site.

About the role

As a Storeperson / LoaderOperator, you’ll play a key role in the safe and efficientloading, unloading, and storage of product at the site.You’ll work with loaders, screeners, and other site equipmentwhile maintaining high standards for health and safety, feed andfood quality, and site cleanliness.

This hands-on operationalrole is ideal for someone with experience in machinery operationand bulk product handling, a strong attention to detail, and awillingness to follow set procedures and contribute to teamsuccess.

This role includesparticipation in a rotational night shift schedule. Applicants mustbe willing and able to work night shifts on a rotating basis asasp of the team’s operational requirements.

Duties

• Operate front-endloaders and screeners in a safe and efficientmanner
• Load and unloadvehicles in line with order requirements and siteprocedures
• Complete allrelevant documentation accurately, including MPI and siterecords
• Maintain store andyard cleanliness and assist with stock rotation andhygiene
• Carry out pre-startchecks, and maintain loaders and equipment according toschedule
• Adhere to all site,MPI, and health & safety procedures
• Support a culture ofzero harm and strong feed / food safety awareness
• Work collaborativelywithin the team and communicate effectively withsupervisors

About you

• Experience operatingloaders and other site machinery
• Familiarity withstock receipting, dispatch, and storage practices
• Comfortable usingtablets or computers for record keeping and basicadmin
• Experience with MPIprocesses is desirable
• Team-oriented with astrong focus on safety and following procedures
• Current front-endloader licence required (WTR endorsements required)
• Full driver’slicence (if required to operate company vehicles)
