This four-year fixed-term role has been created to backfill the current incumbent, who is seconded to the ERP Replacement Project.Reporting to the ICT Business Transformation Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting the PMO and the wider Digital Enablement team by delivering high-quality business analysis, project coordination and change management expertise.
You'll work across a variety of initiatives, helping to shape and implement solutions that improve business processes, enhance service delivery and support strategic transformation.We're after someone who's not just great at analysis, but passionate about people.

If you're outcome-focused, thrive on diverse thinking and love turning complexity into clarity - we'd love to hear from you.This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects that impact our community, while developing your career in a dynamic and supportive environment.Work with the business to define, understand and document the business processes and existing and desired business capabilitiesCreate detailed business analysis and requirements, outlining problems, opportunities and solutions for the businessIterate new business capabilities into the future state business architectureCollaborate with business leaders to produce quality Point of Entry Cases, Business Cases and work productsSupport PMO project delivery to enable timely execution of projectsMeasure and monitor projects for compliance with PMO project governance standardsIdentify opportunities for process improvement which deliver better services to customers and more effective and efficient ways of workingFacilitate and co-ordinate workshops and meetings with project teams, key stakeholders and designers across all project stagesFacilitate and provide training support for new systems and change processes to ensure successful project outcomesActively ensure that legislative requirements and Council policies and procedures are fulfilled, particularly in relation to all key relevant legislationA tertiary qualification in business or management-related disciplines is preferred and / or work experience in lieu ofProven analytical backgroundStrong understanding of change managementProven experience working at a business, department or project level to achieve outcomesKnowledge of organisational change preferably in a large and complex organisational setting, including process, systems and organisational changeExperience and appreciation of local government business drivers and statutory requirementsKnowledge of and experience in process improvement and project management toolsA natural connector who builds trust and brings people together to co-design solutionsPersonal traits include being curious, empathetic and thriving in environments where collaboration is keyTaranaki is a region like no other, offering a perfect balance of career opportunities and lifestyle.
