Hiwa i te Rangi is a unique, supportive learning environment for young parents in Te Tai Tokerau. We are seeking a compassionate and adaptable kaiako to join our team in a part-time capacity.

We are looking for someone who :

• Holds a current New Zealand teaching registration
• Demonstrates professionalism, confidentiality, and empathy
• Is resourceful and able to teach within an abstract, flexible classroom model
• Can confidently support students across a wide range of subjects, interests, and learning needs
• Values culturally responsive practice and positive relationships

Our ideal applicant is someone who can build strong connections, inspire young parents on their education journey, and contribute positively to our warm, whānau-centred space.
