Our well-established and growing civil construction client is looking for a motivated Site Engineer or Project Engineer to join their team.

With a busy pipeline of work ahead, this role offers the chance to contribute to a variety of infrastructure projects, including water and wastewater renewals, as well as trenchless works like directional drilling.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Construction Manager and working closely with the Project Management Team, you'll help deliver high-quality civil infrastructure projects throughout the Canterbury region.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting project delivery through QA documentation and programme tracking

Assisting with on-site coordination and monitoring progress

Gaining exposure to the commercial and financial aspects of project delivery

Working within a collaborative team that encourages initiative and professional development

About You

You bring a hands-on approach and a solid grounding in civil construction, along with :

2–3+ years of experience in civil infrastructure or a similar field

Strong understanding of water, wastewater, and pipeline construction

Proficiency in MS Office and project management software

A proactive mindset and eagerness to continue learning and growing
