Stanbury Electrical Engineering is a New Zealand owned and operated manufacturer of industrial battery chargers. With over 60 years of experience, we support the materials handling world with innovative charging solutions to charge everything from walkie stackers to mining equipment and everything in between. Our products charge electric fleets on sites like airports, warehouses, transitional facilities, factories and cold storage, as well as transport vehicles and AGVs, and can outlast the equipment they charge.

Roles and responsibilities
Administrative
All employee records are maintained accurately, securely and in a timely manner.
Communicate with management to develop, create and implement health and safety policies and procedures, while incident reports are recorded and stored correctly.
Be efficient in taking minutes for meetings when required.
Manage confidential paperwork and ensure secure storage of confidential information.
Administration tasks related to staff recruitment, induction and training requirements.
Become proficient in processing customer orders.
Purchasing
Generate purchase orders for raw materials and components required for production.
Closely monitor supplier delivery schedules and routinely communicate with vendors to expedite deliveries when needed to ensure component availability.
Responsible for monitoring production and maintaining inventory levels of raw materials, components and other supplies required for production.
Have experience and knowledge of Incoterms, international shipping processes and inventory control.
Be proficient in purchasing and inventory modules – ERP System integration in development.
Negotiate and maintain relationships with suppliers and shipping providers.
Work closely with suppliers and keep them accountable for quality and service issues.
Conduct costing analysis where required.
Heath and safety
Manage staff certifications (e.g. Forklift licenses, First Aid etc.).
Maintain health and safety records, registers and reporting systems.
Assist with inspections, and incident investigations.
Share insights and learnings with the wider team to improve outcomes.
Complete and manage safety documentation for products we use.
UL (eventually)
Conduct regular audits to ensure product compliance – UL / RoHS etc.
Respond to regular UL inspections.
Maintain accurate records to compliance-related documentation, in particular UL follow-up service reports. Ensure documentation is organized and accessible for internal audits and regulatory inspections.
