Dental Assistant / Receptionist |Lumino Courtenay Place| Fixed-Term, Full-Time

Job Description We are seeking an enthusiastic and patient-focused Dental Assistant / Receptionist to join our dynamic dental practice in Wellington, New Zealand.

In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring a seamless and positive experience for our patients while also providing chairside assistance to our dental professionals.

Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner Assist dentists during dental procedures, ensuring proper instrument handling and patient comfort Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments according to established protocols Maintain accurate and organise patient records and documentation Schedule appointments, manage patient inquiries, and handle administrative tasks efficiently Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth operations and excellent patient care Promote a positive and supportive environment for patients and colleagues The hours for this role are : Monday - Friday : 7.45am - 5.15pm This is a fixed term position for parental leave.

Qualifications Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational and time management abilities Proficiency in using dental practice management software Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures (preferred but not required) Previous experience in dental assisting or reception (helpful but not required) A friendly, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented approach to work Willingness to collaborate with the dental team and contribute to a positive work environment Additional Information Our practice have a respectful, supportive and collaborative culture that emphasizes teamwork and open communication.
