Senior Web Developer

Overview

New Territory is currently seeking a full-time or contract Senior Web Developer to join our on-site team in Auckland, New Zealand. The Web Developer will be responsible for the development and maintenance of web applications. The candidate will be required to be up to date with modern web development practices and compliances, as well as possess excellent programming skills. The candidate will also be required to work closely with our other developers, designers and marketing teams to ensure our projects are completed to a high standard and on time.

Location

We are based in Ponsonby, Auckland, New Zealand with a satellite office in Melbourne, VIC, Australia. The role can be worked remotely, but ideally within these centres.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of building to the designed specification of our sites and meet our internal standards.
• Assist with Growth activities and the implementation of digital marketing best practices, providing expertise to help steer our client Growth programmes.
• Be familiar and comfortable with VS Code, Figma and Github, using them effectively.
• Proficient with Shopify, Sanity or Kirby based CMSs or translatable systems (JAMStack, PHP).

Salary will be determined by skill and experience level; we are looking across all levels of experience currently. Permanent and Contract roles will be considered.
