This role is ideal for an experienced DaVinci Resolve Studio expert who can provide tailored consulting to optimize post-production workflows for personal videography and photography projects. The focus is on helping a retired hobbyist enhance efficiency and achieve consistent, high-quality results with footage captured across the US and Canada using mirrorless cameras and drones. The consultant will work remotely, offering guidance on workflow optimization, monitor calibration, color consistency, and best practices for exporting content, particularly for YouTube. The engagement is flexible, estimated at 5–7 hours, and will be adapted to the client’s skill level, objectives, and available time.

Deliverables

  • Conduct a remote assessment of the current DaVinci Resolve Studio workflow and hardware setup
  • Provide step‑by‑step guidance on optimizing project organization, timeline management, and media handling
  • Advise on monitor calibration and color workflow to ensure consistent results across devices
  • Recommend export settings and delivery formats optimized for YouTube and personal sharing
  • Offer tips and techniques for efficient editing, color grading, and post‑production tailored to personal projects

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in DaVinci Resolve Studio, with a strong portfolio of video editing and color grading work

  • Experience consulting or teaching, with the ability to adapt guidance to non‑professional users
  • Familiarity with mirrorless camera and drone footage, including common file formats and challenges
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, patient approach to remote consulting
  • Access to a high‑end Windows editing environment for demonstration and troubleshooting
