  • We’re looking for a self‑motivated, team player to join our busy resource consents team based in beautiful Te Aroha.

    About the role

    In this varied and rewarding role, you’ll work across a diverse range of land use and subdivision consents, as well as provide advice to customers on a wide range of resource management issues. With our district home to many large rural based industries, you’ll enjoy the opportunity to tackle interesting and complex projects that make a real impact in our community.

    What you’ll bring to the role

    • A relevant tertiary qualification
    • At least five years’ experience in resource consents planning
    • Strong knowledge of the Resource Management Act and related legislation
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • A proactive approach and strong customer focus
    • We’re looking for someone who works collaboratively to enable positive development outcomes for our community while ensuring sound, consistent decision making.
