• Logistics Manager
• to support our Group Depot & Transport functions, ensuring the smooth, accurate, and efficient operation of logistics processes that keep our business moving. This role is ideal for an experienced logistics professional who thrives on coordination, data accuracy, and operational excellence.
• About the role :
• In this role you’ll lead the teams responsible for Container Control and Planning, ensuring that depot and transport operations run seamlessly across our network. You’ll play a key role in managing data integrity, system performance, and operational reporting, while driving process improvements and supporting financial and strategic objectives.## Job DescriptionWorking closely with operations, finance, and customer service teams, you’ll ensure our logistics support functions are aligned with business goals and that customers receive timely, professional service every time.

• Operational Support & Coordination
• Oversee logistics support across NZ Depots and Transport.
• Lead Container Control and Planning teams to deliver operational efficiency.
• Monitor container and transport performance, resolving issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate data and system integrity across transport management systems.
• Prepare and present reports highlighting trends, insights, and recommendations.
• Drive the adoption of system enhancements and process improvements.
• Develop and implement operational procedures that boost productivity and safety.
• Lead assigned Group projects.
• Performance & Team Leadership
• Conduct regular performance reviews and support professional development.
• Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Support workforce planning and resource allocation to meet business demands.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and reduce costs.
• Strategic & Financial Support
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and cost-tracking activities.
• Monitor logistics KPIs and performance metrics to drive improvement.
• Provide insights and data to support group-level decision-making.
• Customer Focus
• Lead a team that provides accurate, professional, and timely customer service.
• Ensure customer queries and issues are managed efficiently and effectively.
• Represent Depot & Transport in group-level projects and meetings.
• Health & Safety
• Model a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all HSE standards.
• Identify and report any incidents, hazards, or near misses promptly.## Qualifications
