The Opportunity
In this role, you will build and empower a team of service professionals who consistently deliver outstanding experiences to advisers, while driving strong commercial results.
Acting as a vital connector between Distribution, Advisers / IMs, and New Business Operations, you will ensure seamless collaboration, stakeholder alignment, and directly contribute to business growth, client retention, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Mentoring, leading and supporting the team to achieve performance goals and deliver quality outcomes.
Fostering a positive work environment that encourages collaboration, inclusion, and wellbeing.
Managing performance and accountability by setting clear expectations and providing regular 1 : 1 feedback.
Communicating effectively between senior leadership and your team to ensure alignment and clarity.
Overseeing daily team operations, issue resolution, and workforce planning to ensure seamless service delivery.
Developing and implementing business plans that enhance service delivery, operational efficiency, and growth.
Promoting the adoption of digital channels to create a more seamless and efficient customer journey.
Ensuring processes are in place to identify, manage, and mitigate operational risks.
Leading key projects that support service and operational improvements.
Acting as the primary escalation point, identifying and resolving issues that impact operational or strategic outcomes.
Collaborating with peers to contribute to business plans and strategic goals across AIA NZ and Group.
Your Capabilities
3 years' leadership experience within a Key Account Management environment (preferred).
In-depth understanding of industry products and practices.
Effectively translates strategy into results, aligning self and team efforts to strategic objectives.
Continuous improvement mindset.
Strong communication skills – written and verbal.
AIA product and systems knowledge (advantageous).
