It is a Crown entity governed by a Minister-appointed Board and advised on Maori interests and knowledge by Te Puna, a statutory Maori Advisory Group.
Our responsibilities are to protect and promote drinking water safety and related public health outcomes - we regulate drinking water suppliers on behalf of the public.

Mo tenei turanga mahi | About this roleJoin a team of passionate ICT professionals in this newly established position.In this diverse and exciting role, you'll lead our approach to cybersecurity and business continuity planning.
You'll also work closely with our Manager Technology Services to review, develop and implement policy and provide advice on our technology services.In this role, you'll :
Monitor the external environment, and provide relevant advice to protect the Authority against cyber threatsManage the relationship with our external security vendors and develop a security work programme to improve the overall security posture of the organisationProvide advice and lead organisational adherence to the Government Protective Security Requirements (PSR)Develop and implement business continuity planning (BCP) for all technology servicesProvide relevant advice to support our technology services, including through the design, review and embedding of policies and guidanceDevelop and manage stakeholder relationships to ensure your work is landingInnovation and creativity are key drivers in the way we work - our size requires us to be smart and agile.Ko koe tenei | About youThis is a diverse role, where you'll have the chance to take the reins and lead across multiple workstreams.To be successful in this role, you'll have the right blend of knowledge, experience and the ability to work independently in a sole position.We are looking for someone with :
