While our clients focus on their core missions, we're behind the scenes keeping things running smoothly.What we're looking forYou will have Security Guard experience or relevant experience working within a security environment with a drive and ambition to become a fully qualified and competent Security Guard.

By joining our Security Guard team working at Waiouru Military Camp, you will gain vast experience within a security role, as well as gaining knowledge and experience working on New Zealand Defence Force site.

You will keep our customer\'s site safe and secure by : Controlling entry points and exit pointsChecking IDs and issuing temporary passesCompleting walking and vehicle roving patrolsCCTV MonitoringMonitoring military facilities on a 24-hour basisFollowing guidelines or protocols set by PAE and NZDFMaintaining a register of incidents and completing incident reportsFollowing the correct procedure for any breaches of securityQualificationsA current Certificate of Approval (COA) (or ability to obtain)NZ Certificate in Security Level 3, or relevant experience.Clean Full New Zealand Drivers Licence.Ability to work on a shift roster.Good level of fitness to complete the physical elements of the work.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.A confident communicator, both written and verbal.What we can offer youFull uniform, wet weather, and warm weather clothing.Free access to our on-site gym and swimming pool.A supportive team environment.Our Security Guards work on a 4 day on 4 day off rotating roster, on 12 hour shifts Monday to Sunday.

Due to the operating requirements, a casual shift may be either day or night.The successful applicant will be required to undergo an NZ Defence Force Security Clearance, which is required to be obtained and maintained throughout employment, as well as a pre-employment medical and drug test.
