Overview

Join an exciting project as an Offline Video Editor for a reality show designed to blend entertainment with educational value for language learners. You will work with multi-camera footage, including establishing drone shots, to craft five engaging 1-hour episodes. The editing style should reflect the dynamic pacing and narrative flow of popular shows like Running Man and leading Malaysian reality series. All work is fully remote, and you will be provided with clear references for the desired style. This is an opportunity to contribute to a project that makes learning enjoyable and accessible.

Responsibilities

  • Edit five 1-hour reality show episodes from multi-camera and drone footage
  • Ensure narrative flow and pacing align with provided style references
  • Integrate educational elements seamlessly within entertaining content
  • Collaborate remotely with the production team for feedback and revisions
  • Deliver final episodes in broadcast-ready formats

Qualifications

  • Proven experience editing reality or unscripted television content
  • Strong proficiency with professional video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro)
  • Ability to work with multi-camera setups and synchronize footage
  • Skilled in narrative storytelling, pacing, and integrating educational content
  • Familiarity with the style of Running Man and Malaysian reality shows is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting
  • Reliable internet connection and access to necessary editing hardware / software
  • Availability to meet project deadlines and respond to feedback promptly
