About the role :

As a Mower Operator, you'll be responsible for mowing parks, reserves and sports fields throughout Rodney and West Auckland on a full time, fixed term basis until the end of January, covering extended leave. Your daily tasks will include :

Operating various ride-on mowers to keep public spaces in top condition

Weed eating, edging and push mowing for a polished finish in detailed areas

performing basic maintenance on equipment to ensure they're reliably maintained

Maintaining fields, parks, reserves and more to a high standard, not only meeting but exceeding our clients' expectations

Who we're looking for :

We'd love to hear from you if you have previous experience with small plant equipment and ride-on mowers in a similar capacity. You'll be passionate about working outdoors, you'll have a strong work ethic and you'll fit right into the team! Ideal candidates will have :

A full class 1 and 2 licence and you must be able to confidently drive manual vehicles

Passionate about the outdoors and take genuine pride in your work

Confident in using technology for your pre starts, timesheets, investigations etc

Committed to uphold a high level of health and safety, keeping not only yourself but your teammates and the community members safe at all time

A positive, can-do attitude
