We're looking for a Senior Communications Advisor who can help shape our communications strategy and bring our people on the journey.
Korero mo te turanga – About the role.
As part of an award-winning Marketing & Communications team based in Auckland, you'll work closely with the Corporate Communications Manager and senior leaders to deliver impactful internal and corporate communications and stakeholder engagement strategies.
You'll play a critical role in aligning messaging across the business and ensuring that what we say connects with why we do it.
You'll Do That Through
Developing and delivering strategic communication plans and projects that support key business priorities
Providing trusted, best-practice communications advice to senior leaders and project teams
Creating communications strategies, tools and content that engages our people across all audiences – from our corporate teams to those in our processing centres and out on the road delivering what people care about
Managing stakeholder engagement across large-scale initiatives
Managing content across a variety of channels, ensuring consistency, clarity and alignment to strategy and brand
Helping evolve our internal communications platforms, tools, and practices
Getting involved in a variety of key projects and supporting the wider team in a collaborative, can-do way
Mou – About You
You're a strategic communicator who thrives in fast-moving environments, with the ability to influence, engage and simplify the complex.
You're confident advising senior leaders and equally comfortable crafting compelling content.
Depth of experience within a corporate communications role, ideally with practical internal communications experience in a complex or service-based organisation
Proven ability in developing and delivering strategic communications with measurable impact
Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills across a variety of formats and channels
Skilled in stakeholder management, relationship building, and being a trusted advisor
A proactive approach, organised and solution-oriented, with excellent time management
