Responsibilities
The Strategic Sales Lead for Mobile Infrastructure & Precision Timing is responsible for driving revenue growth through the acquisition of new customers and the expansion of existing accounts within the Mobile Infrastructure segment. This role requires a proactive opportunity seeker with a strong focus on building and maintaining key relationships with end customers and channel partners in the mobile infrastructure market - including cell site connectivity, colocation, and wireless infill.
In addition, this role leads the go-to-market strategy for Chorus’ Precision Timing capability - a new proposition for the New Zealand market. It will suit a creative and strategic thinker who can help shape how we define and grow this opportunity across a broad customer base, from manufacturing to government. You’ll bring curiosity, commercial confidence, and the ability to position Chorus as a trusted advisor and credible player in this emerging space.
In this role, you’ll take ownership of developing and executing sales strategies that connect market needs with Chorus solutions. You’ll build strong relationships with customers and channel partners, understand their priorities, and deliver value through tailored solutions that support their connectivity and timing requirements. You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams - across product, marketing, and technology - to ensure alignment and momentum behind every sales initiative.
As the subject‑matter lead for Mobile Infrastructure, you’ll play a key role in shaping proposals, managing RFPs and RFIs, and creating compelling commercial offers that drive customer success and business growth. This is an opportunity to take a strategic seat at the table – influencing how Chorus engages with critical industries and delivers connectivity solutions that enable New Zealand’s digital future.
