About the role
We are looking for an Ophthalmic Photographer to join the Ophthalmology Outpatient Department here at Dunedin Hospital on a permanent, part-time basis.
The primary responsibility of the position is to provide photographic and technical support, as well as associated administrative services for the Ophthalmology Department.
You will be given the opportunity to utilise and develop a variety of technical proficiencies, and work with sophisticated technology in a friendly and supportive team environment.

About you
To be successful in this role you will :
have a positive 'can-do' attitude
be open to new ways of working to provide patients with the most efficient and effective service
hold a Level 4 certificate in Digital Photography (or higher) or be working towards this
have some experience within an ophthalmic field (would be advantageous but is not essential)
be flexible in your availability as some occasional weekend work may be required.
This role belongs to the DHB / PSA Allied, Public Health, Scientific & Technical Collective Agreement and falls between Step 1 ($63,842 p.a. pro-rata) and Step 5 ($76,737 p.a. pro-rata) of the Non-Degree Technical Scale.
