About Good Day :

Good Day is the vibrant hospitality hub within Wellington Airport, featuring two levels of dining and bar experiences. From casual bites to crafted beverages, we deliver quality, speed, and service excellence in a fast‑paced airport environment.

About the Role :

We’re looking for an experienced Venue Manager to oversee operations across both levels of Good Day. Reporting directly to the GM of Food & Beverage, you’ll lead a large team, drive performance, and ensure every guest experience is seamless. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll balance strategy with service, managing everything from staffing and compliance to revenue growth.

Full‑time position with rotational weekends off (Weekend on, Weekend off!)

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations across two dining venues within the airport terminal.
• Lead and inspire a team of 25+ staff, ensuring high standards of service and efficiency.
• Manage budgets, cost control, stock, and POS systems.
• Drive revenue through smart rostering, menu optimisation, and retail‑focused strategies.
• Collaborate with the GM of F&B on promotions, activations, and guest experience initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with WHS, food safety, and sustainability standards.
• Be present and hands‑on during peak service periods.
