Premier mushrooms Ltd was found in 2017 in West Auckland and now based in South Auckland with more than 2000 square meter green house to grow fresh shiitake, oyster and enoki mushrooms. Due to business needs, they are looking for 1 Airconditioning and Refrigeration Technician and 2 Mushroom Farm Supervisors to join their team.
All the positions are full time with guaranteed minimum 30 hours per week.
Job Description :
Airconditioning and Refrigeration Technician ($35-45)
Job Responsibility :
- install refrigeration / air-conditioning systems
- installing and repairing components such as compressors, motors, condensers, evaporators, switches and gauges, and copper lines for steam, gas, refrigerant, compressed air, oil and chilled water
- test-operating refrigeration systems, checking mechanisms and making adjustments
- checking and overhauling refrigeration systems, diagnosing faults and repairing and replacing defective components
- Diagnose technical issues and prioritise workload to meet customer service levels and deliver outcomes in an efficient and effective manner
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and processes to achieve high-quality work
To be sucessfully, you will need to :
1. NZQF Diploma level 4 or above
2. can do attitude
3. Minimum 2 years working experience can substitute the formal qualification
Mushroom Farm Supervisor ($30-35)
The main job responsibilities include but not limit to :
planning and coordinating the production and marketing of mushroomselecting and planting seeds, seedlings and bulbs, and grafting new varieties to root stocksmaintaining crop production by cultivating, de-budding and pruning, and maintaining optimal growing conditionsorganising and conducting farming operations, such as collecting, storing, grading and packaging produce, and organising the sale, purchase and despatch of producedirecting and overseeing general farming activities such as fertilising and pest and weed controlmaintaining farm buildings, fences, equipment and water supply systemsmaintaining and evaluating records of farming activities, monitoring market activity, and planning crop preparation and production to meet contract requirements and market demandTo be successful, you will need to
NZQA Level 4 or above qualificationAt least 3 year relevant work experience could substitute thequalification requirement
Good team work and management skillFlexibility to work on weekend and night shifts, overtime may be required
