Primary and intermediate (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi, Certificated teacher. English, Health and physical education, Learning languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, Te reo Māori, The arts.

Our senior team is growing from two teachers to three – come and be part of something special! We are a state-integrated Catholic primary school (Y1–8) seeking an experienced, passionate and enthusiastic teacher for our senior team (Y7–8), beginning 2026. This is a Scale A permanent teaching position.

We are looking for an authentic and creative teacher who :

• Understands the refreshed New Zealand Curriculum and is committed to meeting the needs of diverse learners , particularly English Language Learners.
• Is adaptable and open to innovative pedagogical approaches that support engagement and progress for all learners.
• Has an understanding of the principles and elements of Structured Literacy in the senior school and is eager to grow their expertise.
• Will actively teach, model, and uphold our Catholic special character , weaving faith and Gospel values into everyday classroom life.
• Thrives in a highly collegiate environment, building positive relationships with colleagues, students, whānau, and our parish community.
• Brings a great sense of humour and joy to their teaching, creating a warm and engaging classroom.
• Is willing to contribute to the wider life of the school through participation in extracurricular activities.

Strengths in sports and sport leadership would be an advantage as there is potential for a leadership role for the right candidate.
