If that sounds like your kind of environment, keep reading.What we are looking forWe're after a Survey Technician with 5+ years' New Zealand experience who is keen to take ownership of their work and contribute to a wide variety of projects across the region.You'll be working alongside licensed surveyors, engineers, and planners on cadastral, topographic, and land development projects.

The role includes field and office-based tasks – from operating survey equipment and capturing accurate data through to processing plans, preparing datasets, and supporting project delivery.Key Responsibilities : Undertake cadastral, topographical, and as-built surveys.Operate and maintain GNSS, robotic total stations, UAV / drones, and other surveying instruments.Process survey data, generate base plans, and prepare cadastral survey datasets for LINZ.Use Landonline to manage survey data and submissions.Support project teams with resource consent and engineering drawings.Liaise with surveyors, project managers, clients, councils, and contractors.Ensure all work meets accuracy, compliance, and quality standardsAbout You : You are an experienced survey technician who values precision and takes pride in producing high-quality work.

You're motivated, reliable, and thrive in a supportive team environment.5+ years' New Zealand surveying experience.Proficient in GNSS, robotic total stations, digital levels, and UAV / drones.Skilled in software such as Landonline, Civil 3D, and MS Office.A strong understanding of NZ cadastral standards and legislation.Excellent attention to detail, communication, and time management skills.NZ Diploma in Surveying (Level 6) or equivalent.Full NZ Driver's Licence.
