Administration Support – Adult Community Mental Health & Addiction Services

  • Permanent full-time – 40 hours per week
  • Monday – Friday office hours

About The Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic person to join our administration team within Adult Community Mental Health Services at Tauranga Hospital. The main purpose of this role is to provide administration support in reception based at ACMHAS. You will deal with clients both face‑to‑face and on the phone, handle referrals, and manage our client documentation. The reception team is the heart of our service and the first point of contact for our clients and for providing support to our clinical teams. This role requires excellent administrative skills, attention to detail and accuracy, the ability to problem‑solve and think outside the box. It is an important part of a team that works closely together and with multiple stakeholders across Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty. It will also require a high level of flexibility as you will support across the whole Adult Community Mental Health administration team as required.

About You

To be successful in this position you will have the ability to work to a high level and provide excellent customer service. You will be a strong communicator both verbally and written, with well‑developed interpersonal skills. We are looking for someone with a minimum of 3 years demonstrated experience in an administrative position, comprehensive knowledge of patient information systems, and a high level of detail and organisational skills. Prior experience with audio typing would be an advantage.
